Customer Review: A Fine Microwave: How to remove the glue

The Sharp R-216LS is a fine microwave.
Bad: the inside light is too dark to be any use. A bright LED light would be good.
Bad: the door sticker glue. You may use a hair dryer to warm up the glue and rub it off with wet cloth. But it will alter the plastic finish.

This item is a good temporary replacement until I get my OTR microwave/convection oven. I needed something in a hurry and this fit the bill. It looks good, works fine, albeit a bit small inside. I think it would be great for one person.Customer Review: A little dynamo

I loved this little dynamo so much I bought another one for a future back up.
It has a lot of different options for microwaving food. They seem to work great.
It's not fancy, it is louder than a full size, and there is no light except when its running and the lighting is poor at best. It is very small and is best for warming up food and liquids not cooking something from scratch. But in real life that's all I did with my big microwaves of the past.
I had a custom kitchen put in and the area in the cabinet to hold the microwave was based on the dimensions for this size model. That's why for the price of $79.00 it was worth buying a backup for the hopefully not to distant future when this one fails for the last time.
I would recommend this little guy to everyone, if what you need is an appliance that looks good, is small, and you only use it to heat up things.

This is a fine microwave, quieter than many and good looking as well. The food really cooks evenly, and the defrost setting seems quite smart. The turntable is well made and the unit removes easily for washing. Pressing the start button alone gives you one minute at high. For me the size of the unit is perfect. My only caveat is the light, which works fine when the oven is running, but not when the oven is stopped and the door is opened. I just received this product and it is being returned today. It looks great on the outside but it is cheaply made and makes a very loud noise when operable. I should have read these reviews more carefully before placing the order. I am a huge Amazon customer and must admit this was my only disappoinment.
