Our little Half Pint was a housewarming gift from friends; it was the BEST gift because ten years on, it is still going strong. It suits our needs perfectly: big enough for a dinner plate, but small enough to fit in our "cozy" kitchen space. We reheat food, make popcorn, cook frozen veggies ("Steamables"), etc. Ours is red with the see-through door, and I rue the day when we must say farewell to one of the longest-lasting appliances we have ever owned. Never a problem, cleans ups very well, has made it through three moves and looks as almost as good as when we pulled it out of the box.
