This model 089 mechanical kitchen scale has the capability for a whole recipe to be weighed in one bowl yet weighed separately, without the need for additional bowls or containers. It comes with a 1.5 L dishwasher, freezer, microwave safe pitcher which inverts over the scale for neat, dust free storage. The pitcher is marked in fluid ounces, liters, pints and US cups. An add & weigh feature with a quick reset to zero, it weighs both pounds and kilos with maximum capacity of 5-pounds or 2.2-kilogram in precise 1-ounce/25-gram increments. Easy to read dial, the scale has a 5 year warranty.Useful for measuring fluid or dry ingredients, this anolog scale has a maximum capacity of 5 pounds or 2.2 kilograms of ingredients in precise 1-ounce or 25-gram increments. The scale comes with a large plastic mixing jug with high sides for stirring batters or ingredients, measuring in the same container, and pouring into a baking dish via the convenient spout. The interior sides of the calibrated jug are marked with measurements in cups, liters, pints, and fluid ounces so the jug can also be used as a measuring cup. The jug is microwave-safe for melting butter or warming milk and dishwasher-safe for easier cleaning. An add and weigh function lets cooks continue to add ingredients while the bowl is on a scale and the scale still produces accurate results. Cooks can even weigh ingredients individually without removing any items from the bowl by simply resetting the dial to zero and placing new ingredients in the bowl.
