live in hard-water area. original dishwasher died an early death, all those little nozzles clogged with calcium carbonate. performance on new, expensive, highly rated ma machine started to degrade in less than 6 months. We're not t alking water spots (used to those); we're talking half the top rack not getting clean. On casual inspection it didn't LOOK clogged, but we thought we'd try this product. One round of Dishwasher Magic (don't you love these names?), and it was working at least as well as new. Plus no water spots, not that we care. I ordered 6 the next time so it's easy to treat the machine monthly. Really grateful to the manufacturer, but especially to Amazon and all those reviewers who helped me find it in first place.
