This works fantastic, i dont use it for jewels persay but it has def helped with my geology classes and my botany classes, the 20X really allows you to see close up bud scales and the 10X allows for times when being that close isnt always what you need a great buy, you should buy it tooCustomer Review: Great loupe for the dough
