I chose this brand/ model because these skewers were longer than other brands, which was important for us since kids would use these. They pack up small, but are still totally sturdy when completely extended. The handles keep hands cool. We use them for marshmallows and they work great. A thousand times better than roasting off of a metal hanger, plus who knows what kind of chemicals are in the hangers; these roasting sticks are the way to go!
