This pot does not work for me. Even on the lowest setting my cheese fondue bubbles... NOT GOOD. The breakaway cord is way to short. It might work ok if you want to cook meats or vegetables, but not for keeping cheese or chocolate fondue at the right temperature. Gave mine to Goodwill. I'll get an old fashioned pot with sterno flame next time.
