I have glaucoma, and I recently decided that I needed a magnifying glass. My quest for a magnifying glass was not an easy one. I remember as a kid, we always had what would be considered a "pretty" magnifying glass. I went in search of the same. Believe it or not, most of what is out there, is either some cheap plastic thing that looks more like a toy than anything else. I even purchased one, and it came with a small scratch in it! And the magnifying it did do, was terrible. You just can't compare plastic to glass! So, the quest continued. Many that were very beautiful, I could not afford. I like to eat too much, to spend nearly $100.00 or more, on a magnifying glass! Then, I came across this one, and really liked how it looked. I ordered it, and it is not only nice to look at, but it works great too! If you need a magnifying glass, you will not be disappointed with this one. I have found my husband using it, and even sometimes our 16 year old, when he is doing a science lab, and he wants to look at it up close!
