Furi's Rachael Ray Gusto-Grip knives are now protected with Furi Guard?, an antimicrobial agent proven to suppress the growth of bacteria, yeast, mold and fungi. Furi-Guard antimicrobial inhibitors are incorporated directly and permanently into the Gusto-Grip handles during the manufacturing process, giving the handle an added safeguard against microorganisms that can degrade handle materials over time! Furi Rachael Ray Gusto-Grip knives are made from the finest German CrMoV stainless steel, forged bolster, one-piece with blade and strong tang for supreme strength. The handle core is molded from ultra-tough polypropylene (PP) with an injection-molded outer layer of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE--a durable synthetic rubber).
Created by F?ri in cooperation with celebrity chef Rachael Ray, the Gusto-Grip line of knives are well-made, user-friendly, and fun to look at as a bonus. Designed to retain sharpness and maximize efficiency on the cutting board, Gusto-Grips blades are fashioned from a single forged piece of premium CrMoV German stainless steel. The nonslip polypropylene and rubber handles in cheerful bright orange have a comfortable reverse wedge shape that minimizes the need for squeezing and molds ergonomically to the hand. A smart touch, antimicrobial protection on the grip limits bacteria, mold, and deterioration.

A great little tool, this Gusto-Grip paring knife has a versatile 4-inch blade suited to trimming eyes from potatoes or slicing nectarines. The finger notch creates greater control, and the piece comes with a blade guard that is especially handy in the picnic basket or lunchbox. A match for the Gusto-Grip chef's and santoku knives, the parer carries a limited lifetime warranty and is best washed by hand. A 3-1/2-inch Gusto-Grip parer is also available. --Emily Bedard
