I do not even use any other pot lid now. This is it. Works perfectly. I was hesitant about the price given that I had been using a cheap universal lid I got from Target that was thin aluminum with a clear plastic insert. Plastic insert fell out after a few uses. No such troubles with this one - it's very well made and will probably last a lifetime. And I no longer have a drawer full of different sized lids. And I will no longer cook something open that should have a lid because I am too tired/rushed/lazy to go rooting through the cabinets for the right size. This was a very good purchase!
