Customer Review: Cheap, but you get what you pay for

My wife and I had this model for a little over a year, and it worked okay. It provides the type of performance you expect out of a value-tier vacuum. The problem we had was that right after the warranty ran out, its belt broke, and none of the replacement belts we can find last more than 30 seconds in the vacuum before they break. Dirt Devil refuses to deal with the issue because of the expired warranty, so now we need to replace it. To reiterate: it's an okay machine, but be prepared to replace the whole thing when the warranty expires.
