I thought this garlic press was a little over priced when I got it, but I had a gift certificate so I decided to go ahead and splurge. After 4 months, I am very glad I got it and I think it's well worth the price. It's very sturdy and the weight of the handles helps make it easier to press the garlic. The fact that the part with the little holes swings out so you can get to every corner to clean it is really nice too. It even goes fine in the dishwasher.

Another nice touch is the mincing head that flicks open for easy rinsing. Pressing the handles afterward locks them together for storage. Like all R?sle tools, utensils, and Open Kitchen storage components, the garlic press is made of 18/10 stainless steel for rustproof beauty and long-lasting durability. The round handles have a satin finish to conceal finger marks (in pleasing contrast to the mirror-finish head). The handles are sealed against water, and one handle has a hanging ring so the garlic press can be conveniently stored on a hook in the Open Kitchen system of R?sle basic rails and Gridwalls or hung on any hook or peg. The garlic press is sturdy, balanced, and exceptionally comfortable in the hand.
