As a basting spoon, the Rosle is unmatched. However, I find that you can use it to stir things too. Liquids especially. Highly recommended for stirring as well as basting.

This Basting Spoon from Rosle keeps your hands safely away from hot pans while ladling sauces and juices. The shallow bowl of the spoon is designed to scoop liquids out of flat pans and containers more easily than a ladle or deeper spoon. Made from 18/10 stainless steel, the spoon measures 12.4 inches long and is dishwasher safe.One of R?sle's superb kitchen utensils, this 12.4-inch spoon has a cupped, solid head for basting meat and poultry and for serving food. Like all R?sle utensils, tools, and Open Kitchen storage components, the spoon is made of 18/10 stainless steel for rustproof beauty and long-lasting durability.
