Customer Review: Hand-some cookies, but a bit tricky to use

I like rolled cookies like gingerbread and "pepparkakkor" which are thin, crisp Swedish molasses spice cookies, traditionally cut as hearts. They are quite a bit of work to make compared to the simpler drop cookies, but they are delightful to nibble with a cup of tea--less substantial, and more delicate.
This cutter is quite adorable--a hand with a heart cut out in center. The little heart "window" makes a second, smaller cookie, just a bite.
The problem with this cutter; it's not easy to lift up the cut cookie dough intact. The fingers break off; the hand splits at the narrowest area around the heart cutout. There is some help; if you twist the cutter back and forth after cutting the cookie, you make a space around the cookie so you don't have to peel back the excess dough. It still takes some skill to lift it onto the sheet. You could also cut them directly on your parchment and then clear away the excess dough, reroll and do additional shapes (we like stars.)
When you take the baked cookies off the sheet, it's the same issue; breakage. So you have to let them cool a bit and be careful. But if you get the technique down, this is a very attractive cookie shape, and it lends itself to a lot of fun for decorating, if that's your desire.
