I got the Tassimo system as a gift for Christmas and have been addicted to it since! I love the fact that you can easily get a variety of teas, coffees, and specialty drinks for the machine. I order through Tassimo direct, but also get them at Target and obviously, Amazon! It's awesome...
Two things that do bother me a bit - one is that you have to wait for the system to heat up before you can start dispensing a cup and I would like to be able to hit start and have it ready whenever it's done... I find myself hovering over the machine while it heats, so I can hit start. The other thing is that you really have to do a good job cleaning the disc area after any specialty drink that uses a milk or chocolate disc. Not doing a good job can even cause the barcode reader not to read a new disc.
Overall, I love the machine and would highly recommend it. It seems to have the best selection of beverages available compared to other single serve systems.

I love this machine. I can't wait to offer a cup to my friends, or for that matter, get up every morning and brew myself a cup. It makes the best latte's and cappucino's right in the comfort of my own home. I had bought another type of single brewer (which starts with an R) more expensive, but the coffee was WEAK. This makes the perfect cup every time. It's futurist looking and goes well with the look in my kitchen with all the rest of my stainless appliances. I recommend it highly. The best part was Amazon's price-HALF of what is sold in stores-and no shipping fees! Now that's a bargain!Customer Review: Easy to use, reliable

Bought this for a friend after using one myself for over a year. No problems, easy to use, and discs are more readily available now in wide range (black/green tea, coffee, espresso drinks). Remember to change the water daily. You can customize the amount of water for your favorite drinks.

A friend has referred me to this machine. I got it and loved it so much. having this kind of freshness and taste every morning is unbelievable. My wife started to drink coffee after we got it home- which is not good for the volume of consumption ;)
But it is really great... and great 24 hours customer service!
my only comment is that, apart from online, t is hard to get the tdisc coffee, but online is a click away

Customer Review: Great Machine, But I still like my Senseo Better for Crema Style.

I like coffee alot. So I now have 2 Coffee Machines.
I have owned a Senseo for over a year now (great machine too).
The Tassimo has the advantage when it comes to brewing lattes and capuccino. I never liked the Senseo capuccino.
My Kids love the Hot Chocolate. The Teas are very good as well.
I like being able to buy the Starbucks coffee and they come out really good. The Machine is really easy to use.
For Crema Style Coffee I prefer the Senseo to this Machine. I use the 2 Pod Holder with the Bold Pods and that Brews to my Ideal Strength. My Wife uses the Single Pod Holder with the Mug Brew button which seems to be what most people consider "Normal" strength. I've tried the Gevalia Crema Style Coffee for this machine which is not bad, I just prefer the Senseo's.
The Machine Barcode decides what type of drink you are making and adjusts the amount of water and the brew pressure to make that drink the right way.
One thing to watch for is that the machine outputs a little water to the Water Expansion outlet that drains into the Adjustable Cup Stand. So you have to empty it out from time to time. It mentions this in the Manual, but sometimes we tend to read more online than we do from the Manual on our Appliances...
I give it 5 Stars because it does an excellent job on such a variety of drinks even though my favorite coffee brew is still the Senseo with 2 pods of Dark Roast.
