Don't waste your money because it is not Stainless Steel as mentioned in the description because after only one use there are rust spots all over the bottom of the pot. Also, the colander was missing one handle when I took it out of the box. My order arrived this week and first thing is the cleaning on arrival...
The holes in the strainer and steamer all had the black material that is talked about in another review, I spent 15 to 30 minutes scrubbing to remove it (I doubt a dishwasher would do anything to clean this.)
Second the strainer has developed corrosion in the finish around the inside bottom edge after just two uses.
This is a functional but inexpensive strainer pot combo with thin metal and poor finish quality but usable.
I am keeping mine, it will do the job.
EDIT: After 1 month it has continued to corrode. Down to two stars from 3

I purchased this pot as a gift. It is lighter in weight than other pasta pots but the quality is there. Who needs a heavy pot to steam or boil in?

The quality of the product is not great, but adequate for the price. My only complaint is that where the handles on the main pot are attached, there are some evident sharp edges on the inside of the pot.
