I purchased the twenty-ounce press in the light blue color. While I have not owned a French press in the past, I chose this one on its merits of stainless steel and apparently durable construction. Upon receiving it, I was not disappointed; it is well-made, and more attractive than the picture suggests.
The included instructions suggest using a medium grind, but using this, I found a mouthful of grit on my last sip. Granted, I only have a cheap blade grinder, but in any case a coarse grind eliminates this problem. Its double-walled construction keeps the coffee warm, too, so multiple cups can be had from the same brew.
