Customer Review: Great deal!
Summary: 4 Stars

I was pleasantly surprised by the addition of a cookie rack and cookie sheet along with the cookie press - a great deal for the price!

Customer Review: Great set for the price!
Summary: 5 Stars

After wanting to continue my family tradition of making spritz for the Holidays, I started the long process of finding just the right spritz press. So many companies make plastic versions of spritz makers, but I really wanted a durable, long-lasting, metal one. I found exactly that in this spritz maker, it mostly metal construction (part of the top and the presser foot are plastic) and metal dies will last my family and I for years to come. The cookie sheet is a little tricky though, it scratches really easily. But since all I really wanted was the press, I'm really happy w/ my purchase. It made perfect cookies!

Customer Review: I Paid 5.99 For This...

and it was only worth it because i needed a drying rack. Like the other posters stated, the cookie sheet is flimsy as well as the cookie press. but, if you just want to try out cookie pressing, and don't want to spend a lot of money to do it, this would be fine.

Customer Review: Not quite what I expected
Summary: 2 Stars

I bought this when it was on special for $9.99 and not sure if it was worth it. The cookie sheet was very thin and bendable. The press itself looks like it would hold up to quite a bit of useage, but the manual needs more updating.

- There is a pivoting setting (1, 2, and a tab) that appears to control the amount the lever moves; though the manual mentions nothing about this.

- The vertical shaft is notched, with a spring-loaded catch to prevent it from moving back up. When fully loaded, there is a springback effect with the lever (it moves back up due to too much pressure). I found I need to press on the lever as well as the vertical shaft in order to get cookies out of the small dies.

- The spring-loaded catch sometimes sticks and does not re-engage.

- No openings at the feet to determine how much dough has come out.

I would not recommend this product. Instead, I would recommend the style my mom uses. It has a twist-dial to advance the plunger, and there were openings in the feet so you can tell when just the right amount of dough came out so you retain the roundness of the shape (not so it's flat).

Customer Review: Not what I was hoping for

Unfortunately, all the parts of this kit are cheaply made. Unless you get a good deal, it's not worth paying for. Poor quality and hard to use, but it makes for some good frosting parties!
