Philips makes an excellent 75 watt light bulb. These light bulbs are advertised to last a year but I find that they last a little bit longer than a year. These are very good light bulbs for either a hanging light fixture or a pendant light fixture; and the light is relatively soft without being harsh on your eyes.
What's more, these light bulbs are very economical and that's an excellent feature.
The packaging could be better; the cardboard surrounding the actual light bulb is rather thin. Be careful not to drop these on hard surfaces like hardwood floors--the glass could shatter and then you'll have quite a mess to clean up!
Overall, however, these are wonderful 75 watt light bulbs to use whenever you need one. I highly recommend them.
