Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Walk Fit Othotics by Phase4 - Size D

Customer Review: Just as Advertised
Summary: 5 Stars

Hurt like crazy the first three days, but my back felt better immediately. It might have been because of the new pain in my foot distracted from the pain in my back . I only wore them around the house on the low setting for about an hour a day the first two days. Then I gradually started to use them in longer walks and I am even running in them now with hardly feeling the pads. For the past ten years I almost always had back pain after every time I ran. I only feel slight back pain now after running that usually goes away after a couple of hours. One recommendation I would make to a new user of the foot pads would be to use an old pair of shoes where the arch is already worn out. This will cut down on some of the pain until your foot adjusts.

Customer Review: Walkfit - just another infomercial disappointment
Summary: 1 Stars

I have back pain and foot pain so I thought, after watching the infomercial, that this was just what I needed after hearing all the testimonials. I liked the fact that the heal was low, kind of like the Earth shoe of the 70's. But they neglected to tell you that the arches were not flexible but very hard plastic. The arches hurt like hell and I used the lowest one (they provide three different heights of arches.). Also, it took forever for them to get here. Almost a month! (I ordered from the Walkfit company, not Amazon.) I paid $10 shipping. What were they using? Pony Express? Anyhow, when I called the company about the pain, (I couldn't walk with them more than a few minutes) they told me I would have to get used to them but if I have foot problems I may never get used to them. WHAT??? The infomercial targets people WITH foot problems providing a list of various ailments such as heel spurs etc. Anyhow, I tried again and then the next day and so on for a few weeks. I really wanted them to work for me. Just hurt so bad I had to return them. After returning them, I had to call the company because the refund was also taking forever. When I called them about not receiving my refund (which was two weeks after they got the package according to my tracking number) they said they didn't put the refund through yet. A month later, I still did not receive the refund. I did eventually get the refund but had to call them three times. Crappy way to do business.
Anyhow, this is not the product that I expected, especially since they target people who are having problems walking but the product made it even harder to walk and painful.

Customer Review: High Arch Problems - A Miracle for me
Summary: 5 Stars

I have been an insert buying crazy gal trying to alleviate foot pain due to my fallen high arches. I almost didn't buy these because I didn't want to spend another $20 on something that wasn't going to work. I am so glad I got them, and have been walking painlessly ever since I've gotten and used them. A return to my old life of hiking, taking walks and sightseeing has been the happy result.
I do know that if you don't have high arches, they will be very uncomfortable as my husband tried them and he has flat feet.

Customer Review: No more Pain!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have had chronic pain from heel spurs (Plantar Faschitis) for years. It got to the point where I could hardly walk due to the pain.
I was desperate for a cure, but my doctor couldn't help. He did give me a steroid injection right into the most painful part of the heel, that helped tamp down the pain about 1%.
I finally checked out the 'Good Feet Store' because of their terrific ad campaign, but I was unwilling to spend the $700 that they wanted for rigid plastic inserts.
After escaping from 'Good Feet' with my bank account intact, I did an internet search for orthotics and found walk fit. The Walk Fit inserts are similar to the inserts that 'Good Feet' sells.
I had to break them in by wearing them for a few hours a day, building up to the point where I can wear them all day. I find them very comfortable now.
I bought another pair for my jogging shoes. I can jog again. After about six weeks, the pain I had endured for years is gone!
If you suffer from Plantar Faschitis, try em. They cost less than a single trip to the doctor.

Customer Review: Great for Plantar Fascitis
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased these at a retail store as a last ditch effort to seek relief from horrible heel pain I was having, later diagnosed as plantar fascitis. After the initial break in period, these supportive orthotics are my only source of relief from the pain that may take up to 1 year to resolve.

These orthotics provide optimal arch support, not the cushy comfort of the traditional shoe inserts on the market. They are for those who truly need the support of an orthotic, as they may be tough to break in for those looking only for comfort. I recommend them to those suffering with foot pain or to active individuals looking to appropriately offload pressure.
