Customer Review: Perfect for Green or Pink Peppercorns!

This grinder does well on San Jose or Thai Chiles but it's a DREAM MACHINE for Green Peppercorns or Pink Peppercorns. It doesn't clog and produces a consistent grind of the whole peppercorn.
I love to use Green pepper as a finish for many cream style soups and sauces. I had to use a mortar and pestle before because other pepper grinders just clog and quit with green pepper. This one produces a consistent grind and doesn't clog--fabulous. I can get that clean bright taste of green pepper without the mess.
When I tried it with pink peppercorns I was pleasantly surprised also. Usually the thin shell of the peppercorn gets separated and as the peppergrinder is used, the flakey outer shells sort of move to the top. In the end, you have half a grinder full of the empty broken shells and never get to taste that sharper tasting outer shell that characterizes the pink peppercorns generally gentle flavor. This grinder consistently grinds the entire peppercorn and the FLAVOR is better.
Sweeet! And I love that I can see through it at a glance--no doubt when it needs filling.
Thanks Peugeot--Now could you guys do it with a square top so I could turn it with damp hands?
