Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Pet Parade Dog Repeller and Training Aid

Customer Review: Absolutely amazing!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

Rocky, my neighbor's German Shepperd, barks at me every time I am in the yard or at the balcony. This started from day one I moved in my new house two months ago. Rocky has been very annoying. I simply cannot enjoy in peace and quiet in my yard or at the balcony.

I went out to the yard with my new Dog Repeller (DR) and of course Rocky started barking. I looked over the wall and he was about 10 feet from me. I aim the DR at Rocky and push the button a few seconds. The barking stopped immediately. Rocky look at me puzzled, tilted and moved his ears for a couple of time, turned around and walked away with his head and tail down!!!. He looked defeated.

After a few times of "training", Rocky does not bark anymore when I am in the yard. Rocky would bark at the noise when I open the balcony door, but as soon as he know it was I, Rocky stop barking. Absolute amazing.

Customer Review: Add Me to the List of Believers: It Works!
Summary: 5 Stars

I love my year-old dog, but he clearly has a mind of his own. Absolutely will not obey certain commands. Let me tell you, this device works. I was amazed. The first day I got it, my dog (a Schipperke-Pomeranian mix) started his unlovely habit of chewing on my ankles. Stop, I told him. I am ignored. I press the button on the gadget for a second or two, and my dog gave me a "what the heck!" look and backed off. I have since used it several times, and each time, the results are the same.

For $10, this product is a wonderful investment in helping make a good dog even better.

Customer Review: Also AUDIBLE to humans
Summary: 1 Stars

The annoying neighborhood dogs did flinch when button depressed, but only a couple of times. Packaging states it is "inaudible to humans" - this is NOT true. My entire family heard it - and it hurts!! Not sure whether it's defective or just false advertising ... I've contacted the seller for a return.

Customer Review: Amazed with the results

I read all the reviews here and I have to admit I was very skeptical...until I broke this sucker out of the package! My girlfriend and I have a 6 year old rescue who has been a handful for the past 2 years. Our meals were always a mixture of whining and barking as the little guy begs for food. We had tried everything to have a peaceful meal and nothing had worked. First night with this training aid it was like a miracle cure. We began to eat and sure enough the whining and barking started. I pointed, clicked and told him "no". It was like a bolt of electricity went through him. He shut up immediately, put his tail between his legs and moved away from the table. After a few minutes he tried to start up again. I pointed, clicked and said "no". Needless to say he got the idea very quickly and we had our first quiet meal in a long time. Now all I have to do is show him the device and he gets quiet instantly. Its amazing! I tried it on the neighbors dogs that bark at me every time I set foot in my back yard with the same result. The only problem is that they have now simply moved to the far part of their yard and started barking. At least now when I go into my backyard they run to the far end of theirs instead of barking right at the fence. Its progress. If this device had a 50ft range and the button didn't stick occasionally (easy to fix) it would be absolutely perfect. A very inexpensive and effective tool. Highly recommend.

Customer Review: Amazing
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this to help curb a yappy dog. It is amazing! Hit the button and both of my dogs snap to attention. In fact, it works a little too good, it makes my younger dog wince a little, like it hurts her. So I only use it outdoors, where that effect seems to be diminished. But when she bolts for the road, I hit the button and she stops dead in her tracks and comes back. NOTHING else has ever been able to get her attention when she is in full hyper mode. Its a great thing, but use with caution as it seems to hurt my dog's ears.
