Anyone who is serious about pepper, must own the PepperMate Pepper Mill. It is very easy to adjust the grind from coarse to fine. It is a snap to load, and has a convenient tray for grinding and dispensing if needed. However, the one feature that has earned its place 4 times over in my kitchen (for black pepper, green pepper, white pepper, and grains of paradise) is the side lever for turning. The large size converts ones wrist action into grinding with much less effort than the usual top turning mechanism found on many cylindrical mills. One you use a PepperMate, you wonder why you never had before and what to do with all your old mills.
