Customer Review: tried two different units - both had same problem

We have similarly only been able to use a cartridge once, before a new cartridge was required. The outlet where we purchased this product had a description that led us to believe that multiple uses (on the order of approximately 15 uses) per cartridge was typical. Our usage requirement was limited to preserving a single bottle every couple of days. It would appear as if a poor seal between the gas cartridge and the unit enables the remaining gas in the cartridge to leak away before the next usage, which for us was a day or two later. This same defect was experienced in each of the two units that we tried. We tried each unit with multiple gas cartridges.
We sent an e-mail to Pek asking for assistance and/or information concerning our problem, and never received a response or acknowledgment. I was only able to find an e-mail address on their web site. No phone number could be found.
I would recommend that you try another product for your wine preservation needs.
