Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Pasta N More 5 Piece Microwave Pasta Cooker Set with Bonus CookbookCustomer Review: A better (free) mousetrap Summary: 3 StarsI didn't tell the person who gave me this as a gift (woo-hoo!) but I've been making pasta in half the time on the stovetop for nearly a year now. The secret: bring the water to a boil as usual, add pasta and bring back to a boil, then cover and take off the burner. Re-gifting time! :-)

Customer Review: Pasta Dude Summary: 1 StarsI'd Give It Zero Stars
If there was a lower rating than 1 star, I'd have given it. The cooking times are grossly miscalculated. It makes me wonder if anyone bothered to use this thing or check the cooking times out before bringing this gadget to market. The recipe booklet and the poor instructions seem hastily put together. I've used it to cook fettuccini (pasty), lasagna (stuck together) and elbow macaroni (pasty and stuck together). And cooking 2 cups of elbow macaroni for 23 minutes (or longer it says for softer macaroni) isn't much of a time saver. I won't waste any more of my time trying to get this thing to work.
Customer Review: Poorly made, poor instructions- very disappointed Summary: 1 StarsAfter seeing all of the informercials on this product (that should have been my first clue)I purchased this from Amazon. When I opened the package, I was surprised at how poorly made it was. The lid is hard to take on & off, the 'measuring' handles are a little laughable, and overall looked like cheap plastic. I still thought it might work- I washed it out with soap & water thoroughly, and made some pasta. I followed the instuctions (very poor). The pasta was undercooked on the ends and overcooked in the middle. That wasn't the biggest problem - THE PASTA TASTED LIKE THE PLASTIC SMELL FROM THE PACKAGE!! I tried it again - re-washed the cooker, re-cooked the pasta and it still had the plastic smell taste. I threw all the pasta out. The product says it is microwaveable, but it's also made in China (I didn't know that when I purchased it). I was thinking of buying some for Christmas (sounded like something new and different), but will not now.
