Customer Review: I have tongs

Contrary to TrilliumB's experience, I find that eggs stick to these rings. However, since my griddle is a "stick" type, I just spray both it and them with a fine mist of olive oil. But, perhaps frying is different than poaching for stickiness.
I like the height, actually, because I use extra large eggs. I doubt that I will ever make mousse in them (as I have yet to ever make mousse anyway).
There is leakage out from under the rings because my 60 year old griddle ain't flat, but I just fold up the flaps on top when the cooking is over. I use tongs to hold onto the rings while I slide a pancake turner under. While still holding the ring with the tongs, I flip the works over---ring still intact. Then I take the ring off and put on a slice of cheese while side 2 cooks. Next, I plop the egg and cheese stack onto an English muffin and that's it.
I think of them as really tall egg rings. If you use extra large eggs like I do, I think that you will appreciate their height. As to whether food will stick to them, it appears that, so far, there is a 50/50 chance of that happening.
