This silicone mat is fabulous! I use it under items I'm baking. I also freeze individual pieces of produce to keep them from sticking together and I use it under them (mushroom slices for example) before putting them in the freezer. Then, once frozen, they just slide off of the mat and I am able to freeze them together in a bag.
Don't know why I waited so long to purchase one of these! I no longer have to use parchment paper to keep things from sticking. It will be a big money saver.

Love, love, love it!!! Best part is that this liner cooks things perfectly! The bottoms are as soft and perfect as the tops: cookies, croissants, buns, EVERYTHING! No more hard, dark bottoms. I liked it so much I bought a few extras for my mom and grandma even after I had purchased their other Christmas gifts-- I just had to share these amazing liners with them! I've wanted silicone baking sheets since I first learned about Silpat. At this price, I was able to buy two. These worked beautifully for my holiday baking (at least seven recipes and a few hundred cookies). This baking mat will pay for itself quickly as I no longer have to buy so much parchment paper. Also, they seemed to help my cookies brown more uniformly.
I've had no problem with outgassing.

I purchased a few of these during the 3 for 2 or 4 for 3 promotion (I dunno I just spend money). They're nice and thin and work for what they are. I cooked a pizza the other day and used it for a mat to put it down on while I cut the pizza. I don't know if it's really advisable to cut things on it but the packaging said it can't be cut since it's fiberglass and silicone. It worked for cutting on but I'm sure the counter top got scratched but hey what do I care - I'm only renting right? Anyways - 5 thumbs up. Maybe I'll try cooking with it next.Customer Review: Love it!!

I used it several times, it worked great. The cookies never burn on the bottom. Pretty top and bottom and taste good. It is easy to clean. Just remember that don't put cookies on the black border.
