Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of World Cuisine 48297-99 Tri-Blade Plastic Spiral Vegetable SlicerCustomer Review: Actually spiralizes! Summary: 5 Stars
I've seen other people (food bloggers) get terrible spiralizers that just don't work. This product is FANTASTIC! So far I've just used it with zucchini and potatoes - but it really works wondefully, and is very easy to clean up too!
Customer Review: All I could ask for.... Summary: 5 Stars
Just starting to dabble into the "raw" foods diet...mainly subbing in some zucchini and squash for pastas....product works flawlessly and is quite easy to assemble....I've only really used the "pasta like" blade but I could not ask for anything better....definitely can recommend it whole heartedly
Customer Review: Amazing! Love it! Even better than I thought! Summary: 5 Stars
I made zucchini nooddles with ease! I was uncertain about the crank and no electricity thinking that this would be labor intensive. It was a breeze! Yes, you crank it put it practically moves on its own. Someone mentioned in another review about the core not being used, you lose a very minimal amount of the core of whatever you are slicing. For the zucchini I used the remaining core (a little thicker than a pencil) in a salad. Cleanup is simple, I love the interchangeable blades (they pop right in/out & are stored within the slicer - genius) and I can't say enough about how pleased I am with this product; particularly for the price! I ordered it on Amazon.com and it was delivered right to my door. I'm getting ready to order one for my mother who raved over it once she saw mine in action!
Customer Review: Awesome Slicer Summary: 5 Stars
This slicer is so easy to use and convenient~! I mainly use it for making zucchini "pasta" but have also used it for carrot rings, baked curly fries and more! Love the different sizes you can make with it! I would highly recommend cleaning as soon as you are done with it. I have had a couple veggies stain the white plastic and its no fun trying to get dried veggies off the blade. I keep a plastic brush handy for cleaning this slicer.
Customer Review: Awesome for low-carbers!! Summary: 5 Stars
So I've tried making "zucchini noodles" before by using a regular ol' paring knife...didn't work out so well. I finally bought the spiral slicer and made shrimp scampi ... regular pasta for my husband and "zucchini pasta" for myself.
I added the zucchini pasta to the pan with the shrimp and let it simmer in the butter sauce...OMG it was AWESOME!!!
I can't wait to use it again!
