These filters really make water taste clean. The only problem is that they occasionally begin to filter more slowly. The solution is to remove the filter and give it a couple shakes. Not a big deal - I have only needed to do it once or twice during the life of a filter. The filters do their job well. 3 for 20$ or 7$ for each filter. Recommended use is approximately 2 months. Then I figure, do I spend 7$ on water for 2 months? Actually, probably 20 to 30$ which mean I am saving more than 20$ every 2 months. Plus, no more hauling gallons of water from the grocery. No kidding, they are heavy.
Most important of all, I won't be contributing much to the millions of water bottles that ends up on the landfill. After all, it is always being argued that tap water is as safe if not safer than the water you get from bottled water. Some of our household members find it hard to believe that argument. So enter the water filters. Now, everybody's happy.

Water that's been filtered by PUR is noticeably tastier than water from other filters. I had been using Brita for years but when the dispenser broke, I researched water filters on Amazon and was pleased to see that PUR offered a superior filter.
I have been using PUR for over a year now and am very pleased at the result. I will not stinge on the quality to save a few bucks. Water is too important a component of my diet and good health to mess with.

I can't get along without the Pur system. These filters were shipped quickly and are reliable as far as I can tell.
