It was a bit smaller than I thought it would be, but my kitten does like to scratch it. She definitely uses it, but I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't a carpet covered mouse in the hole like it described in the information. Instead there's a little ball with colored tassels on it... just seems like a weird toy for a cat. I think she would have liked the mouse better. Otherwise, it's a good product. She loved the catnip I sprinkled on it.Customer Review: Loved by both cats

Both my tabby and my himi love this - they much prefer the incline to a flat scratch box. I only wish it was a bit more sturdy as at the bottom it's came apart. Yes, I could fix that by glue/tape/etc but it would be best if it didn't come a part. That said, I'd buy it again and recommend it as well since both cats use it frequently. i purchased many scratchers and this was one of them, I have to say that my cat adores the scratchers however I would recommend a more wide model
