This cup is great for making shakes. I use it everyday to make protein shakes. It is very convenient to put the ingredients in the cup, take the blender part of and put the lid back on to take it on the go. I spend less time making shakes and cleaning the big jug that comes with the blender since the cup is very easy to use. I recommend this to anyone that makes protein shakes or milkshakes and is on the go constantly. It does cut preparation time down by half compared to using the old big jug and separate cups. If you have a significant other, I recommend buying two since he or she will like it. I do recommend buying a bottle brush since sometimes the shakes sticks to the sides if you don't wash it right away. It just depends how long you take before you wash it and what ingredients you use.
