Customer Review: Best small appliance I've every purchased Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this egg cooker about 7 years ago and it still works just as good as it did when it was new, and it gets used quite a bit. I really like the results I get when hard boiling the eggs. The shells never stick, they just slide right off.
I'm glad to see that this little gadget is still available. If my seven year old one ever decides to break, I will certainly buy another one.
Customer Review: Best yet Summary: 4 Stars
Great cooker. Only beef is that it could have used a measuring cup to add the water.
But it cooks just fine.
Customer Review: Better quality than other brands Summary: 5 Stars
I'm not going to go into the benefit of having an item like this, it is very handy. I just want to say that this particular egg cooker is of much better quality than others. I had one that went out and went shopping. This isn't an item that many stores carry but the ones I found out there were made of very cheap plastic and held fewer eggs. I like that this model has water markings in the bottom and the egg piercer is built into the tray that holds the hard boiled eggs. Some models have a measuring cup to tell you how much water to put in and the piercer is on there. I just don't like dealing with an extra thing I have to keep track of.
Customer Review: Button does not always stay in. Summary: 4 Stars
This product makes the best cooked eggs. My two complaints are that the electric start button does not always stay pushed in although it does cook the eggs.
My second complaint is the scum that remains at the bottom of the cooker. I've even tried distilled water to no avail. Sometimes it takes baking soda to clean the bottom of the egg cooker.
