This blender is a substitute for my 30+ year old Oster and which uses the same glass pitcher. My old one finally died, so now I have two picthers to work with, which is very handy because we make shakes and smoothies by day and blended rum or taquila drinks in the evening.

This blender seems to have a strong motor and a heavy base which stays in place while working. It's easier to clean than my old one. It crushes ice-maker ice well in my recipes. My only complaint is that it's just one speed (plus a pulse). While, I'd like to have at least two speeds, I'm learning to use the pulse more as a slower speed.

I think it's an excellent blender, nice looking with my stainless appliances and I'm happy with my purchase. I recommend it for your next blender. I believe it is well priced for its kind.

This is a good basic blender. I like the Pulse functionality a lot. It has done a fine job so far. We'll see how long it lasts. It is a good value, though I'm really looking forward to a Vit-a-mix oneday.

I bought this blender at the same time I bought the book, Green For Life, by Victoria Boutenko. The book is guiding me in the direction of greater happiness through greater health, and the blender is the vehicle taking me there, and in the fast lane. When not in use, the unit looks really good hanging out on my kitchen counter. In use, it couldn't be simpler to make my green smoothies, well, smooth. The speeds are: "on til I turn it off", and pulse, and I guess you could count "off" as the third, and final speed, just in case two speeds just doesn't seem like enough to you. Cleans easy as pie. (o.k. pie is hard for me, so let's say, easy as buttered toast.) I bought a set of the book and blender for my parents, and they are just as pleased as me. .

This blender is simple, elegant, and fairly powerful for a home blender. We tried another blender with more buttons (speeds, features, etc.), but returned it and bought this one based on the recommendations in [...]. Those reviews were helpful. Skip the cheapo blenders, the inevitable returns, and get this one. It blends.
