Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of 5 cup, stainless steel blender jar, complete. Fits Oster.

Customer Review: Looks very high end.
Summary: 4 Stars

Makes my Oster beehive blender look like a high end bar blender. My wife is very happy with this replacement container and the new blade. She likes it better than the original glass one that it replaced after it cracked. Two things to consider though. 1. It is smaller than the original container (holds less.) 2. There is no handle on it.
We are happy with it and would recommend to Oster that it come as the original container or as a second one, like a two pack. That would be a neat selling feature.

Customer Review: Great Addition To Your Blender!
Summary: 4 Stars

For me this is one of the best additions to the kitchen after good knives and quality pans. I make a lot of Protein shakes regularly. I find this much easier to hold and hand clean in the sink than the standard heavy glass jar. I bought the Blend-N-Go cup as well and found the capacity was a little too small for me, harder to clean up, and left you juggling around with a loose blade assembly. The only improvement would be to add a thin long clear window to show the level and volume markings on the outside. There are markings on the inside but they might be difficult for some to see. That is the only reason I didn't give it five stars. Otherwise I am very satisfied with this product.

Customer Review: Unbreakable and _perfect_ for shakes or smoothies.
Summary: 5 Stars

We've had one of these for a decade now, and we love it. It makes shakes better than any of the other blender jars. It works with the normal agitator/ice crusher blades as well as the shake blade.

The downside is the capacity is somewhat smaller than the normal size and it's more difficult to check the consistency of the blended product.

Customer Review: Easy to clean. Won't break. Takes a lot of abuse.
Summary: 5 Stars

Why don't blenders come stock with stainless steel jars?
I got this after I shattered the stock glass jar.
I've had plastic jars before and they can break too, plus
plastic is hard to clean and gets nasty and scratched after a few years.
