Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Revolving Shoe Tree 37"x11-1/4"

Customer Review: Finally Something Sturdy
Summary: 5 Stars

I have had crappy shoe shelves from target that just fall apart or warp and lie about how many shoes it can hold (you would have to only put slim narrow dress shoes on them to fit the right amount). this 4 tier revolving shoe tree is the best thing that has ever happened to my shoes it hold all 24 pair of mens sneakers and casual shoes and does not fall over. i was surprised all the shoes fit. I love it so much i'm going to buy another one.

Customer Review: Whitney Design 2134 Chrome revolving 4 Tier Shoe Tree
Summary: 5 Stars

Very easy to put together. It takes up little space. I really love this shoe tree. It is by far the best item I have ever owned for holding shoes.

Customer Review: Works Well
Summary: 5 Stars

This review is for the 4-Tier Whitney Revolving Shoe Rack. Currently as I write this, Amazon has the wrong picture on the listing (a Polder 3-tier rack). My review is on the Whitney....

Well made design, easy to put together with instructions. Note: Please put together in the place that you want it to end up. If you assemble it elsewhere and load it with shoes, it is near impossible to move due to the weight and the shape.

I was so glad to get rid of those nasty shelf type racks where your shoes are SUPPOSED to sit between two metal rods. They don't, they fall in between all the time.

The Whitney 4-tier rack holds 24 pairs of shoes easily. I did not put my ankle boots on, because they didn't really sit cleanly. But you could if you wanted.

The actual stats, WITH shoes on board are: 4'3" tall and 16" wide (accounting for the length of heels that protrude). So this gives you a better idea of the footprint of the rack.

The 4 round racks are easily placed where you want and they turn by just grabbing a pair of shoes and giving it a push.

The only cons are: you do have to look at the dirty and worn bottoms of your shoes, which are mostly black. Instead of seeing the tops of your shoes easily, you have to look a little harder to distinquish which pair you want. Not that big a deal compared to the alternative of piled-up shoes on a regular shelf rack.

Note, you shouldn't hand-tighten any screw too hard or you might break the fastening piece, per the directions. No tools are required, everything is there for you. Do use the instructions though.

Wish List: would be nice if Whitney made carousels with inverted racks so that the shoes faced outward... would take up a larger footprint though.

Customer Review: sturdy and easy to assemble
Summary: 5 Stars

I just bought this shoe rack and it arrived a couple of days ago, so I can't comment on durability. It was really simple to put together. It took me approximately 10 minutes to assemble and did not require any tools other than the little screw driver that was included with the rack. The bottom piece is very heavy, preventing the rack from tipping over even when it is full of shoes. We left a space in between pairs of adult shoes, so it doesn't hold quite as many as it could. For children's shoes, no space is needed between pairs.
A nice feature is that you can adjust the spacing in between the tiers, making room for larger or smaller shoes.
So far, I could not be happier with this product.

Customer Review: Good, but not overly attractive! :)
Summary: 5 Stars

This shoe tree works great! The only flaw is you look at the tree and see the bottoms of all your shoes. It is very compact and holds 24 pairs of shoes. I love it!
