This is the first kitchen aid that I have
Ever raved about or reviewed. It has literally changed my kitchen life. Now I can make complicated dishes involving lots of dicing like gumbo from scratch. I've had food processors big and small and they are so tiring to drag out of the cupboard and mess with, I gave them up. The slap chop isN't perfect but if you use real 'thrust' when you chop it works beautifully, cleans easily and fits in even small drawers. All this for under $20 too!

What a wonderful product if you like the addition of another garbage kitchen product that fails to do everything that is is supposed to. It smashes tomatos, I guess that's great if you want salsa/ ketchup. Onions get smashed as well with the skins getting stuck in the blade causing a potential trip to the emergency room. Overall this is a horrible experiance with this product leading up to holes being punched in walls. Most importantly, wanting to smack the smirk of the headset- wearing fairy that promotes trash.Customer Review: DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. Item was used only three times (on garlic and, one time, on an onion)...THEN it failed. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. I expected this item to be the same as I used in early 70's; making coleslaw- I used that item time & again, for my mom as a teenager. This item is not worth the spit to send it to Hades.Customer Review: DO NOT BUY!!!!!

Absolutely horrible. Very cheap construction. I bought this product for my wife because she is especially sensitive to chopping unions. I purchased this to hopefully help with that problem but we were only able to use this once before it broke. Poor construction. Mine does not chop, it just trys to. Won't chop through apple , garlic , onion. The food gets caught up in the blades. This is the first time I used it, but I'm looking for an easier one to chop with. The chopped onion (which is why I bought it) comes out in big pieces and they are stuck in the blades, I have to dig them out. This is no fun!
