The skin on the sides of my fingernails crack in the winter (I live in Michigan). I spent a lot of money trying this cream and that. Miracle Hand Cream is the only thing I've found that works. Given time (used several times daily for about a week) it will heal the cracks. If you rub it into your hands most nights before you go to bed, you will not develop any dry skin cracks.
There is no pain killer in it, so additionally, you'll have to use hydrocortisone on the cracks till they stop hurting. But the hydrocortisone by itself won't heal anything. Miracle Hand Repair Cream will.
