I bought this thermometer about two weeks ago and it works great. I am still trying to figure out why I need it though. As someone else said, the frost free freezer will set the alarm off. My freezer appears to get as high as 20 degrees during this process. After reseting the alarm every morning I finally gave up and turned it off. If you are concerned about the temperatures then this is a good product. If you want an alarm to warn you of high temperatures then forget it.
