I've gone through several spatulas that are more then one piece with bad results. One (silicone head with wooden handle) got moldy where the wood went into the silicone head and was disgusting. The second (silicone head and plastic handle) broke in half one day.

I'm VERY pleased with this Orka spatula. The one piece design means it's less likely to break and won't trap food/water in the cracks. It's dishwasher safe, which is wonderful for me, and even cleans up super easy with a sponge.

I'm planning on buying more, and I recommend them to friends and family.
