They were bought as a gift. They were soft and nicely made. I was told they were bleached and unfortunately the color stripes changed. Olive turned into a tanish color. The towel was still nice and worked very well for odd jobs around the kitchen. If you bleach your towels I would say get an all white version. Otherwise, I would buy some for myself the next time I need towels.
