This machine is heavy but not built very well. It lasted 15 minutes before the cutter blade and the plastic pusher block came in contact with each other and damaged both. I was cutting fresh red Lasoda irish potatoes. I weighed the potatoes I had cut, it was 10#. I will use a knife now. I don't think the cutter is sharp enough, they bend and contact the plastic pusher block.
