I am a female letter carrier with a walking route and a lot of stairs. The past few months I have been limping . I was dreading going to a foot doctor. I tried a few inserts thinking I needed some cushion but none helped. I watched the infomercial and thought I would research the inserts later. I saw WalkFit at CVS and decided to try them. The instructions said to wear the inserts an hour or so at first. The first day I wore them all day to work and my foot pain was 90% better. I am thrilled. I will try the medium inserts. I've used these inserts for Plantar Fasciatis in both feet and a heel spur in one and have received complete relief. They are firm, and I also switch sometimes to a softer orthotic insert, but if I wear only the softer ones for several days, the pain returns and I have to switch back to the WalkFit. I have a sister-in-law that didn't like them. I like them very much. 5 Stars.
I saw an infomercial describing a newer WalkFit with softer heel cushion and plan to try them.

I bought Walkfit at CVS, which now carries a limited range of sizes. It is helping. I've used an Alimed orthotic for ten years, but the Walkfit, although it's taken a week to get used to, has really eased my plantar faciitis and heel spur.
BUT - I ordered a pair online for my wife a week ago (not via Amazon) and there was no email confirmation of the order. I've emailed them twice to make sure they received the order and have had not yet received a response.
If Amazon was handling this product directly, it would be worth a try. Otherwise, check out CVS or Target to see if they carry your size. Plus, you won't have to pay the $9.95 shipping per pair.

I purchased these inserts after the podiatrist said I needed arch support to help me recover from a foot injury. I went to a specialty store and got $30 arch supports, but they didn't seem to do much. When I saw these at Target, I decided to try them since they cost less than $20. It took a couple of days to get used to, but then I could wear them without even noticing, and they've really helped improve my foot condition. When I wear them with athletic shoes, I take out the insole that comes in the shoes to allow enough room. When my work shoes don't allow enough room and I wear the inserts from the specialty store, my foot will often hurt at the end of the day, which doesn't happen when I wear the Walkfit inserts. One thing that will definitly improve wearing comfort is to be sure the insert is seated at the back of your shoe, then place your thumb along the side to hold it in place when you put your foot in. If the insert isn't aligned exactly under your arch, it's quite uncomfortable. Also, I have very high arches, but I only need the "low" insert on the Walkfits. I tried the medium insert, and even after the break-in period, it was too high for me.Customer Review: These are great....
