Buy this to get out urine, feces, and vomit stains. It also gets out food stains. The key is to Saturate! Yes, pour a Lot over the stain... I also recommend a black light to locate funky smells.
Customer Review: THIS IS HOW YOU USE THIS PRODUCT Summary: 4 Stars
Okay, so after moving into my new house I was hoping beyond all hope that my little pug wouldn't pee on the carpet. Well, here I am five months later and, low and behold, the little stinker strikes! So let me get to the point here. Nature's Miracle does work. However, it works at its best when used in the following manner. When your little pet strikes, take a few paper towels and GENTLY soak up as much of the pee as you can. Repeat this process with many paper towels until you have soaked up as much as you can. DO NOT RUB, DO NOT ADD WATER! Now get yourself a measuring cup, and here is why you buy the gallon sized. Pour between 6-8 ounces of the product over the spot. This is about how much pee comes out of a little dog, so you want to match that. Let the product soak in the spot and dry as long as it needs. Do not simply spray the spot, because, trust me, the pee HAS gone down to the pad, and a little spray will not do the job. Now, after the spot has dried, you may want to apply to spray, just for a little extra treatment. I had a 24 ounce spray bottle that I refilled with the gallon, but it left me with plenty to treat the problem initially the way I had described.
Customer Review: The Best!! Summary: 5 Stars
If you follow the directions it will work! First blot out the pee! Then pour in the Nature's Miracle and blot. I usually will pour more and then really rub with a rag. I put a chair or stool on top of the stain so the dog doesn't smell it. It still might smell like pee until it is completely dry. It might take a couple of days, depending on the weather. You can also put a small fan.
If you find an old stain you can pour some water on the stain and blot until your paper towels aren't yellow...Then follow with Nature's miracle. I have used this for 10+ years.. I have tried others from Pet's smart or Petco, promising that their store brand works just as great. THEY DON'T!
It even works great when your young kids get sick and throw up on the couch! The enzymes take care of the stinky smell!
Customer Review: The stuff just doesn't work Summary: 1 Stars
I can't help but feel like I have been a victim of effective marketing! I have tried multiple "enzyme" based products and I just have not had positive results. we bought the black light to be able to clearly see the urine spots. Not only does the urine not go away, but the smell is still there. I have tried soaking the area and letting it dry, I have sprayed, I have had the carpet professionally cleaned, and I think the only way to fix our problem is just to replace the carpet. I wish that rather than wasting $30 here and there trying this brand and that only to have the same bad result, I would have just put that money towards the new carpet fund! Bottom line, don't waste your money if you have CAT urine stains of any kind or old DOG urine stains.. The stuff just doesn't work. Just get the carpet replaced and start over.
