Namb??'s Covered Casserole adds extra polish to any meal presentation--literally. The beauty is this 2-qt. dish retains heat as well as cast-iron and goes from oven to tabletop with ease. Featuring convenient handles on the lid and dish, it won't tarnish or chip. Cristo Mountains of Santa Fe. Made from a proprietary aluminum-based alloy, each exceptional piece is polished to resemble high-luster silver, although it does not contain silver. It also retains its temperature, much like cast iron, but does not contain iron or lead. Namb?? is completely foodsafe, withstands freezer, oven, stovetop and grill temperatures, and makes a stunning yet functional serving piece that will never tarnish. To care for Namb??, hand wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly. An oblong take on Namb?'s larger, round casserole dish, this deep two-quart baker is one of the two sizes of Namb? cookware with a lid. Amazingly durable, both the casserole and the lid (which can be used by itself as a shallow baking or serving dish) are safe for use in the oven, under the broiler, on a stovetop burner, and in the freezer, so that a casserole or dessert can be baked ahead of time, frozen, reheated, and served directly at the table. The thick metal retains heat (or cold) exceptionally well, and will not crack, chip, or tarnish. Like all Namb? metalware, the casserole is not safe for microwave- or dishwasher-use. Square and rectangular baking dishes are also available.
