I received Mr. Beer as a gift. I love it. Some of my friends and relatives who drink light domestic beers, aren't fans of my creations. Those who like the richer more flavorful beers, love it! It was really almost too easy. I would have been disappointed by this if not for the ability to add flavor enhancers of my own. And for those of us who like the microbrewed beers, this is much cheaper. It's about 50 cents per 12 ounce bottle.

I bought this for my boyfriend and we've made several batches already. (Actually, I've made several batches. He drinks it, I make it) I don't drink beer myself, but have alot of fun brewing it. We've made some light beer, like the canadian mist, we've made the irish beer, and german beer and all of them turned out good. Our friends liked some of them even better then what they bought at the store and brought. The last batch I added a can of blueberries to it, and while we thought it'd be horrible, after it was ready, it had a slight color to it and a slight blueberry flavor. This kit is perfect if you want to have everything ready for you and all you have to do is pretty much mix it together. Plus with all the different flavors and crazy recipes, you have plenty to choose from.Customer Review: Fun to do but not that great

This is the third time we have used this product and not had great results. It's beer sure enough but it just doesn't taste that good. Maybe its us, and even though we follow the directions exactly, we understand it's not an exact science. That said, we will not buy this product again.Customer Review: GIFT

I'M NOT MUCH ON LONG AND COMPLICATED- THATS WHY THIS SET-UP IS GREAT FOR ME. SIMPLE AND EASY TO USE IS ITS HALLMARK. NO LONG AND CONFUSING INSTRUCTIONS TO FOLLOW OR FORMULAS TO CONCOCT. I HAVE USED MR BEER PRODUCTS FOR YEARS AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PLEASED WITH THE END PRODUCT. THE BEER IS GREAT-THE PROCEDURE SIMPLE-AND THE BREW TIME MINIMAL. CAN'T BEAT IT FOR THE MONEY, EASE OF OPERATION , OR THE SMOOTH DRINKABILITY OF THE FINISHED PRODUCT. AMAZON IS GREAT FOR OFFERING FREE SHIPPING WITH THIS ITEM- THATS JUST ICING ON THE CAKE! KUDOS!
