Customer Review: Good rubber mat but not for all dogs

My dogs shredded this matting in short order. However, I have found it a very useful mat for other applications, such as in a van for floor protection, as an outdoor door mat, etc. My dogs are large and power chewers, so the mat may work fine for a doghouse mat if you do not have a chewer. I even fastened it down with mounting tape and the dogs still worked it loose and tore it into strips. If you do use it inside a doghouse, perhaps putting strips of something, like cove molding, to hold down the edges would work. They could only tear it by getting an edge. The mat is fairly tough in itself. I would buy it again. I would just mount it differently.
