Worked every time with all kinds of milk/yogurt starter combinations, I don't even need to use the measuring cup. Just put as much starter as I like (usually 3x of the measuring cup since I like the yogurt to be a bit thick). Leave the thing running for 10-12 hours, no need to be exact either. How can people mess it up? Or maybe they can't stand the sourness? But that is how real yogurt should taste like, otherwise just buy corn syrup. :-)
One quick tip: make sure you put the finished product in the fridge for at least several hours before taste it. Warm yogurt is something you seriously want to avoid.
Looking for a glass container of the size of quart milk carton, so I can use Costco milk. :-)
