I'm a big fan of epoxy putty, and I figured that Mighty Putty was just a "as seen on tv" version of the generic Home Depot type epoxy putties. I was wrong. I'm not sure how you can screw up epoxy putty, but Mighty Putty managed to do just that.
I would highly recommend CRC 14070 Minute Mend Epoxy Putty Stick instead.

I've seen the negative reviews on this and they puzzle me. I have used this for so many different things and been well pleased. They only negative I have had is I had it put up my outdoor flagpole and it held metal to brick for 2 years, then it fell off and I couldn't get it to stick again. I tend to think it must lose some power over time. But for the price it is still worth it.
I have a plant hanger metal to brick it has kept up over two years and still rock strong outside.
Give it a try what do you have to lose? Amazon has a great return policy. Also make sure you kneed it fully before use until it is uniform in color.

More like silly putty. I couldn't even get to hold a piece of poster board to a wall. When you activate it by squeezing it, it gets all over your hands and smells like chemicals. Not a worthy product at all, Save your money. You'd have better luck with chewed gum.

I don't know why this stuff got so many bad reviews. I used a quarter size of it to attach a plastic bracket on the wall. I just tried breaking it off and it didn't budge at all. I think this stuff is excellent. The reason why it didn't get 5 stars is because of the horrid smell. Maybe it's the surface the people who rated it bad are trying to apply it to. But for hanging posters, etc this stuff works very good I think.Customer Review: Worked Great for Me!

I only used it once so far, and it worked great!
I had water coming in though a poured cement foundation at a hole that had been drilled below grade for the water line to go out to supply my lawn sprinkler system. It was the middle of winter in the Northeast (NY), and water was coming in around the pipe - the contractor had never caulked the hole.
I used the Mighty Putty, and it has not leaked since!
