Perfect size for me and not too heavy to handle. The instructions say not for direct heat, i.e. stovetop, but I've been using it on a small Cadco glass/ ceramic cooktop to cook stuff without a problem. Easy to clean, too.
UPDATE: Not for stovetop as the directions say. Mine cracked and was unusable after a few weeks of using it on a cooktop. I'm now using a heat resistant glass coffee pot instead.
