My wife was really wanting one of these for Christmas, so I searched and ordered this one from Amazon. Once it arrived, I simply wrapped it for Christmas and let her open it. Well, it turns out that the wood surrounding the hinge was broken and couldn't be fixed with wood glue. When I tried returning it I was not able to get a replacement, merely a refund. So it looked pretty but just didn't work out for us.Customer Review: Not the best salt keeper out there- quality questionable

This salt keeper is rather large but that is not my issue. The tops would not line up when closed so it is always a little off and the top salt portion completely came off a bit too easily for me. I would recommend spending a few more dollars for a better quality salt keeper.Customer Review: Original design

Original design,sturdy...bigger and nicer than what I expected.I wish it had come with instruction on how to clean it or maintain it.
But defenitively a beautiful object for my kitchen.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my husband and excitedly opened it and found a very poorly crafted item. Neither of the sets of magnets are lined up. In the closed position the cellar looks like it's stepped, rather than being a nice closed column of wood. It looks really terrible, I can't believe someone assembled this and thought it was fine.
